A Rotating game mode for League of Legends, its longer name is Ultra Rapid Fire. Like the name implies URF is about more magic, more often across the board. The specifics of this mode have changed almost each time it has been reintroduced but the 2016 version of URF came with the Awesome Buff of Awesomely Awesome Buffing!
So URF is normally full teams of AP champs against full teams of AP champs trying to burn through each other in a race to fire off everything you can faster than the other team can. Mana is abundant, and VFX fill your screen for the entirety of the match just ramping as time grows.
This mode is a love-hate relationship because it either goes well or it really doesn’t. So you play over and over hoping for those good rounds. Team comp is what the good rounds normally come down to, while you still want primarily AP champs you still need ones that serve a range purposes. Too many healing equals the longest, most boring game EVAR!!!!! And if you have all mages you’re too squishy to face an attack, so finding that balance of which tanks go benefit from AP, like Singed, who is good AP marksmen? Grab that healer, AP Jungle? My point don’t forget basic meta because one stat is ULTRA, it will truly help save you from terrible drawn out matches you can’t win and your team won’t surrender.

So what does OKG say?
So how does being an OKG affect my experience with URF? I personally find the ridiculousness of this mode makes it pretty forgiving like I have never had an issue feeling like I was the one dragging the team down.
The absurdity causes such visual chaos come team fight time that nobody can tell if you missed your skill shot and they care a lot less, because you can just fire it again, lol.
So as an OKG URF is a great mode to get to play with folks that are normally out of your Ello without too much worry about their judgement of your gameplay or anxiety ruining it for you.
